SYNTHETICS VS MERINO

Merino is super lightweight, soft, non-itchy, non-clammy, warm in the cold
and cool in the heat, and has a miraculous ability to resist odour.

It is made in the mountains not a petrochemical laboratory.

SYNTHETIC ENVIRONMENT

Synthetic clothing - such as polar fleece and polyproplene - are made from petrochemicals,
a non-renewable fossil fuel. They hold their odour, are highly flammable and are not breathable.

MERINO ENVIRONMENT

In New Zealand, the merino is a mountain sheep that roams freely at up to 7,000 feet.
Merino wool is annually renewable and biodegradable. Merino is extremely fine and strong.

FROM WOOL TO SYNTHETICS TO MERINO

TRADITIONAL WOOL

Once upon a time we all wore wool. The problem
is, its heavy, stinky, takes ages to dry and
itches like mad!

SYNTHETIC

The 1980's saw the invention of synthetic fabrics,
the problem is its smelly, clammy, sweaty and petroleum based which makes it highly flammable!

MERINO

Merino is super lightweight, soft, non-itchy, non-clammy, warm in the cold and cool in the heat, and has a miraculous ability to resist odour. It is made in the mountains not a petrochemical laboratory.
